Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at Richmond College, now called the University of Richmond, on November 1, 1901, on the Cardinal Principles: VIRTUE, DILIGENCE, and BROTHERLY LOVE. Today, the Fraternity has grown to more than 262,000 lifetime members, including 13,500 undergraduates on 260 campuses in the United States. SigEp is currently the largest fraternity in terms of undergraduate enrollment.
Currently, our chapter is ranked #1 out of all 19 Greek organizations based on the annual accreditation.
With our current overall G.P.A of 3.03 we currently have the highest GPA out of all male fraternities. The overall campus average is 2.8 and our chapter is the only male fraternity on campus to achieve a 3.0 GPA.
The chapter won five awards at the 2013 Greek Awards Ceremony including:
1. 4-Star Accreditation
2. Intramural Award
3. Outstanding Entertainment/Social Program Award - "Greek Goddess"
4. Outstanding Chapter of the Year
5. Greek Man of the Year (Jacob Dicus)
